Our sheep, unlike other animals on fur farms, are not just kept for their covetable fur. They live in flocks, free to roam around spacious pastures, and are carefully shorn once a year. The wool they their skins become a natural by-product.

The fine art of sheepskin preparation
Like all other animal products the sheepskin must be processed to make it durable, sterile and easy to care for. Sheepskins that leave our workshop have been tanned using skin and environmentally friendly ˜Eco-Tan” chromium-free products and we guarantee that they are free of any harmful substances.




Easy to care for because of the skin’s self-cleaning properties
Lanoline is the wool fat contained in sheepskin and because of its skin-friendly properties it is often used in baby care products. It is also the main agent that is responsible for the self-cleaning function of finished sheepskin products, making washing only necessary when the sheepskin becomes extremely dirty or badly stained. With the help of a special Fellhof washing agents sheepskin products can be washed at 30° without any problems.
